Chinzen ZL35E Wheel Loader
Chinzen ZL35E Wheel Loader is a project of Xuzhou Chinzen Highway Construction Machinery Co., This product is smaller than the ZL50G wheel loaders. In 2010 Chinzen Highway Construction Machinery Co. consigned Rhichs Studio of CUMT to design this product. Our services included styling / structure / man-machine / livery design. Chinzen ZL35E Wheel Loader had been mass production in 2010, and the series of this product were first appeared on bauma China 2010.At that time I was the head design of Rhichs Studio of CUMT.
I had used Solidworks to design the 3D modeling .The final Chinzen ZL35E Wheel Loader assembly as the left picture shows. Firstly I build the 3D model of the parts which needn't re-design according to the engineering drawings. The engineering drawings come from the last generation of ZL35D Wheel Loader. (For this product the bucket, boom cylinder, frame, etc. can`t be changed). Then I designed the cab, the hood, the back cover, the light, the fender, the weight, etc. Size is very important in the modeling process. All the size must consider the ZL35D Wheel Loader`s engineering drawings. Then assembled all parts.
The size of the Cab had been changed to ensure the operator has a broader perspective. The Articulation Angle of this product is 74° and their old product is 64°. The Articulation Angle is an important parameter for wheel loader, it means the wheel loader can work in a smaller room and it is much more smart . Because of the size of the Cab had been changed. The size of the channel also must been resized. The old Cab is made up of curved glass, but the new one is made up of polygon glass, it helps the operator has a clear vision. The polygon glass window is much more easy to made and it is also cost savings. Comfort Cab Optional air conditioning system is available for additional operator comfort.
The hood is a very important part of wheel loader. For this product the styling is simple. You also can say the styling is poor. I agree with it. Because many restrictions. First the market of the ZL35E Wheel Loader is not large. So the manufacturers are reluctant to open the mold. The hood, the cab, the back cover are all stitched together from sheet metal. But it`s difficult for them to stitch them. The whole process is very complex. For this product the livery design is simple, because of the manufacturer want to reduce the painting process. It can help them save costs.
Chinzen ZL35E Wheel Loader had been mass production in 2010. You can see it on the production line. It's annual production is about 300-500.
